Hire of St. Edward's Hall

St. Edward’s Hall is hired out throughout the year for a variety of uses. These includes weekly Fitness, Ballet, and Baby Music classes. Weekends are used for a variety of Craft Fairs, Gift & Collectible Fairs, Clothing Sales as well as one-off and regular Charity and Commemorative Events. The Hall is also available for parties and wedding receptions. 

The facilities of the Hall include:

– 128 sq. metre first floor hall with lift and recently renovated sprung polished wooden floor

– Disabled access lifts from the pavement to the Hall

– 100 person capacity with chairs and tables to match

– Full working catering kitchen with commercial Lincat 4 burner electric hob and oven along with crockery and cutlery

– Full CCTV system and monitored alarm

– Hearing loop

– Microphone and PA System

– PRS Music License

St Edward's Hall

The current rates for hire are:

Day rate (7am to 10pm) £130. In the case of multiple days booking then this rate includes the full 24 hour period. For part of any day (between 7am to 10pm) the cost is to be £13 per hour for all hirers. This hourly rate will be modified if the hirer is a) based within the Parishes of Stow and the Swells and b) is for a non profit organization/charity. In this instance a 10% discount will be given on the hourly rate for the length of the booking. For the avoidance of doubt any commercial operation will always be charged at the full rate.

Weddings. The charge for 3 days full hire including the use of the chair covers and ribbons is £750. There will be an extra charge of £250 written into the agreement if the cleaning of the Hall after the event is unsatisfactory in the opinion of the Trustees.

NB: Booking priority is given to local events if they are booking at the same time as a non-local event. Confirmed bookings will not be cancelled for a local event unless for a exceptional reason.
